Source hierarchy
- Operator-controlled source: official website, verified official account, written customer-service confirmation or venue signage.
- Authoritative public source: government, transport operator or another responsible public body for transport and regulatory facts.
- Booking platform: useful for the exact package, price, validity, refund and booking URL shown on that platform.
- On-site check: dated observation or staff confirmation, recorded with enough detail for a later review.
Third-party reviews can reveal questions worth investigating, but they do not by themselves establish a current venue policy.
Fact-level evidence
A verified fact stores a human-readable value, one or more source IDs and a verification timestamp. Sources state which fields they support. A source is not attached to an entire record merely because it mentions the venue.
If a field has no adequate source, its value is null and the public label is Unknown — not yet verified. The editor must not infer a child rule, payment method, language level, price or opening time from an unrelated clue.
Status rules
- verified requires a resolved real-world identity, at least one source, and current evidence for the decision-critical facts presented as verified.
- unverified is the default for candidates and incomplete records.
- changed is used when a previously published decision-critical fact may no longer be reliable. The affected fact should revert to unknown until rechecked when appropriate.
Facts versus editorial judgment
Policy, address, price, opening time and payment support are facts. A conclusion such as “good fit for families with young children” is an editorial assessment. Editorial assessments are labeled, list the source IDs they depend on, and stay “unknown” when those dependencies are missing.
Volatile fields
Opening hours, admission rules, package prices, validity windows, booking links, metro access and payment support are tracked as volatile. They need a review date and should be rechecked before peak travel periods or after a source signals a change.
Corrections
When a material fact changes, update the record timestamp, preserve a concise change note, and add an item to the public updates feed. Do not silently replace a source-backed claim if the change affects a family’s ability to enter, pay or use the venue together.
Machine-readable contract
The public dataset is available as JSON. Its record shape is documented with a JSON Schema, while the TypeScript source model and automated validation guard the maintained copy.
